The poet, who lived a long life, witnessed both the Tsarist and Soviet eras and carried out his literary activities across these two periods. Jambıl’s literary works were not limited to Kazakhstan alone but found recognition throughout the entire Soviet Union. His works have been translated into various languages. Jambıl Jabaev’s life and literary contributions also resonated widely in Azerbaijan. His works and news about him were frequently featured in the press of the time. The Edebiyyat newspaper, which began publication in 1934, often included articles about Jambıl. These articles covered news about the poet, the awards he received, and interviews with him.
