This article examines the cultural and linguistic significance of Kazakh humor, as well as its communicative-pragmatic aspects. Humor is analyzed not only as a means of entertainment but also as a tool that reflects the worldview and social values of the people. The article proposes a methodology for teaching humor using a level-based approach and provides practical recommendations for developing students' linguistic competence. Additionally, the role of pragmatic analysis of humorous texts is explored.
