In this article, the historical development of Turkish music, its social functions and its relationship with geographical elements are examined in the light of the cultural richness and diversity of the Turkish geography. The origins of Turkish communities, together with the migration processes from Central Asia to Anatolia and Europe, have been effective in shaping music. The unique melodies and rhythms of each region, blended with local traditions and social dynamics, have created a rich music. Turkish music has gained unique characteristics thanks to its rich historical background and the combination of cultural influences. In this study, Turkish countries and the music of that region were examined. The countries were examined under one title and their musical structure was investigated. Information about the structure and musical development of each Turkish country will be given.
