Annotation. This article analyzes the linguocultural peculiarity of traditional songs that form the core of Kyrgyz culture. Kyrgyz traditional songs reflect the musical world and history of the people, their way of life, religious, ethnic, linguistic and cultural peculiarities, and world picture. The content of these songs is closely connected with ancient beliefs, customs and thoughts of people. Linguistic analysis of the texts of traditional songs has been carried out. It is determined that traditional songs of Kyrgyz have a special metaphorical system rich in deep philosophical and didactic content. On the basis of relevant examples, the emotional vocabulary and linguocultural character, meaning and stylistic coloring of traditional songs are shown. Metaphors, comparisons, epithets and symbols are analyzed.
