This article analyzes the natural geographical features of resource distribution in Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan's natural geographical conditions, particularly its relief structure, climate, geological structure, and hydrogeological conditions, play a significant role in resource distribution. Mineral resources are unevenly distributed across the territory of Uzbekistan. It occurs densely in mountainous areas, distributed across plains. The possibilities of using modern cartographic and geographic information technologies (GIS) in the analysis of the geographical distribution of land and resources were evaluated. Using geographic information systems (GIS) technologies, it is possible to map the characteristics, distribution, dynamics, and states of resources, and to increase the efficiency of this process. The article discusses the role, methodology, and practical significance of GIS technologies in spring mapping. The creation of an electronic platform for mineral resources in Uzbekistan is considered an important factor in the effective use of mineral resources, the development of tourism and therapeutic-balneological aspects.
