Khalil Fikret Kanad is one of the Turkish educators invited to work in Azerbaijan at the beginning of the 20th century. He was engaged in pedagogical activity in Azerbaijan during 1923-1926, lectured at Baku State University, and published scientific, scientific-mass, and scientific-methodical articles in the press of his time. One of the journals in which he worked was the first women's magazine in Azerbaijan, the "Sharg gadini". Starting from its first issues, the "Sharg gadini" magazine published articles of various contents related to the protection of motherhood and infants. It carried out great pedagogical propaganda by publishing materials on the pages of the magazine about the physical, moral, labor, cognitive, and aesthetic education of orphanages, kindergartens, and preschool children. A large part of these materials are articles by the Turkish educator Khalil Fikret Kanad. These pedagogical articles have not been studied so far, and from this point of view, their study and study is a topical issue.
