The national picture of the world presented in folk tales is determined by historical and psychological and pedagogical attitudes, norms and preferences that have formed in the public mind. Therefore, linguo-culturology (a science that developed at the intersection of linguistics and cultural studies at the beginning of the millennium) refers folk tales to the main elements of culture, their study contributes to the development of linguistic and cultural competence. One of the most popular folklore genres - a fairy tale is a sample of folklore found among all ethnic groups. In fairy tales, the basic concepts of an archetypal nature, inherent in the collective linguistic features of the ethnos, are widely represented. The mythological images of the Turkmens are reflected in the Turkmen fairy tales and reflect the typical features of the national character. These functions are presented to the reader in the form of verbal formulas.
