Annotation The depiction of animal symbols has existed in literature for a very long time. In their symbolic expression, each animal is expressed based on its own characteristics. Animals exist in the folklore of every nation. Animals have appeared in folklore since ancient times. In fact, animals are also mentioned in the Holy Quran, and it is said that the animals mentioned in the Quran should be an example for people, be used by them, and be considered halal and haram. In Uzbek falklore, especially in dastans, the most significant animals are the horse, camel, dog, and wolf, while in French linguoculture, the key animals are the bear, wolf, fox, dog, and cat. Similarly, in English linguoculture, the prominent animal figures are the bear, rabbit, cat (including the tiger and panther), snake, and pig. One of the main functions of animal imagery in literature is to describe human relationships through animal characters. The most vital task of an animalist writer is either to depict animals accurately or give them human characteristics, actions, and emotions, which enhances the figurative and artistic quality of their work.
