This academic presentation examines the scientific and cultural collaborations of universities in the Turkic World, focusing on the impact of the Union of Turkic Universities on scientific and societal transformation. Specifically, the study explores the membership of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University in this union and its role in academic interactions between universities in the Turkic World. Universities are viewed not only as institutions of scientific knowledge production but also as entities that transform societal structures and reshape cultural ties. Collaborations between universities in Turkestan enable individuals to break free from societal hierarchies and achieve greater social mobility, while also strengthening regional cooperation through education. In this context, universities emerge as critical social institutions that not only enhance global competitiveness but also transcend societal boundaries. The study employs a survey model to analyze Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University’s position within the Union of Turkic Universities and the national and international impacts of initiatives aimed at fostering academic relationships in Turkestan. This research, from a sociological perspective, addresses the transformative influence of universities on social connections and power dynamics.
