This article discusses the didactic foundations of teaching the Kazakh language to Turkic-speaking students in a translingual aspect. In the era of globalization, the importance of multilingualism and intercultural relations increases, there is a need to determine the didactic basis for teaching the Kazakh language in a translingual aspect to foreign students, including Turkmen. Since Kazakh and Turkmen languages belong to the Turkic group, there are lexical, grammatical and contextual similarities between them. However, some grammatical structures and semantic differences between words can cause difficulties for the student. The didactic principles of translingual teaching of the Kazakh language to Turkic-speaking students are based on communication between languages, comparative analysis and interactive methods focused on using the knowledge of the students' own language when learning a new language. The article comprehensively analyzes the main didactic principles of translingual teaching and the effectiveness of its use in the process of language acquisition by Turkic-speaking students. The results of the study show that following these main didactic principles contributes not only to the development of language skills, but also to the enhancement of students' intercultural competence. The use of didactic principles in teaching a language in a translingual aspect increases the motivation of students.
