The literature of every nation is full of expressive methods used to convey educational concepts. Among these tools, "parable and simile" are two important literary genres that convey moral, philosophical, and social messages to the audience with the help of imagery and indirect expression. "Parables and allegories" in Turkish poetry and literature play an important role in conveying deep concepts and establishing a connection with the audience. As such, allegory, with its strong storytelling and imagery, and parable, with its simplicity and fluency, have enriched Turkish poetry. Master Shahryar, a famous and prominent contemporary Iranian poet, who has significant literary masterpieces in both Persian and Turkish poetry, has been able to bring her poetry closer to the language of the people, make it tangible and understandable, and double its impact by using parables and allegories in her works. This article, while emphasizing the creation of artistic beauty in Shahriar's Turkish poetry, first briefly explains the definition and difference between simile and metaphor, then examines their place in Turkish poetry, and by presenting examples of prominent poets, examines the influence of these elements in Shahriar's Turkish poetry, especially the world poem and masterpiece of Turkish literature, "Heydar Babaya Salam".
