Özet

This study comprehensively examines the structural and semantic characteristics of compound words in Kazakh Turkish. Compound words are linguistic structures formed by the combination of at least two words into a single meaningful unit, which may undergo semantic shifts over time and acquire new meanings. In Kazakh Turkish, compound words are often confused with other types of complex words, leading to terminological and classification-related ambiguities. In this context, the study provides a detailed analysis of the definition, formation processes, and linguistic functioning of compound words, focusing on their morphological and semantic properties. Different categories, including compound nouns, compound adjectives, compound adverbs, compound verbs, and compound pronouns, are examined with relevant examples. Additionally, the historical development of compound words and their role in the Kazakh writing system in terms of spelling rules are also discussed. The primary aim of this study is to establish a scientific framework for the classification of compound words in Kazakh Turkish, thereby contributing to the resolution of terminological and structural ambiguities in this field.

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Kazak Türkçesindeki birleşik kelimelerin yapısal ve anlamsal özelliklerini kapsamlı bir şekilde ele almaktadır. Birleşik kelimeler, en az iki kelimenin bir araya gelerek yeni bir anlam birimi oluşturmasıyla meydana gelen dilsel yapılardır ve zamanla anlamsal değişimlere uğrayarak farklı kavramlar kazanabilirler. Kazak Türkçesinde birleşik kelimeler, diğer karmaşık kelime türleriyle sıklıkla karıştırılmakta olup, bu durum terminolojik ve sınıflandırmaya ilişkin belirsizliklere yol açmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, çalışmada birleşik kelimelerin tanımı, oluşum süreçleri ve dilbilimsel işleyişi detaylı olarak incelenmiş, morfolojik ve semantik özellikleri analiz edilmiştir. Birleşik isimler, birleşik sıfatlar, birleşik zarflar, birleşik fiiller ve birleşik zamirler gibi alt kategoriler değerlendirilmiş ve her birine ilişkin örnekler sunulmuştur. Ayrıca, birleşik kelimelerin tarihsel gelişimi ve yazım kuralları çerçevesinde Kazak yazı sistemindeki yeri de ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Kazak Türkçesindeki birleşik kelimelerin sınıflandırılmasına yönelik bilimsel bir çerçeve sunarak, bu alandaki terminolojik ve yapısal karışıklıkları gidermeye katkı sağlamaktır.
