Annotation. This article is dedicated to Jami, the star of Oriental poetry in the genre of hamsa. Similar subjects, themes, and problems are found in the poet-writers who portray them, as are the life scenes they describe. But these poets know how to find individuality in this commonality, which means that universal problems are revealed in each authentic picture with a style and means that belong to them alone. Jami's poetic mastery arouses interest, the thematic, formal, ideological diversity of his works and creative features such as the specificity of the problem posed, innovation, originality of description, beauty of language, accuracy of style, individuality and contribution to fiction are analysed. As a result, A. Jami as a classic of oriental literature is defined by his innovation that he brought to oriental poetry, his contribution to the field of khamsa in oriental literature, and his mastery of the khamsa genre.
