Abstract This article examines the distinctive features of authorial stance in Kazakh prose from the 1960s to the 1980s, focusing on the methods and techniques employed to convey it through artistic means. The research explores how the authorial stance in Kazakh prose during this period was shaped by various aspects such as a deep understanding of historical and social contexts, the awakening of national spirit, the preservation of spiritual values, and the addressing of social justice issues. The study considers how the authorial stance penetrates the content of literary texts, its visibility, and its overall aesthetic role and impact in literature. Through specific examples, the paper analyzes various forms for expressing the authorial stance, highlighting their significance in enhancing the aesthetic value of Kazakh prose. Additionally, the study examines theoretical perspectives and research by domestic and foreign literary critics on the importance of authorial stance. The authors aim to reveal the national characteristics and values of Kazakh literature through this research. Analyzing the methods of conveying authorial stance provides an opportunity to understand the artistic level of national literature. This research is directed towards a deeper understanding of the aesthetic values of Kazakh literature and its role in promoting national values.
