Annotation: This article examines common words related to product names in Turkish, which belongs to the Oghuz group of the Altaic language family, and in Kyrgyz, which belongs to the Kypchak group. The general similarities of words related to the names of products in the lexical composition of modern Kyrgyz and Turkish languages are analyzed; the degree of preservation of common elements; semantic essence, meanings; use of these words in narrow and broad spheres; different degrees of use, processes of lexical-semantic development and their reasons; As a result, the commonality of the lexical stratum related to the names of products in Kyrgyz and Turkish languages is recognized and revealed.
