Although the issue of compound verbs in Turkish seems to have been dealt with especially in Turkish grammar books, there are still problems waiting to be solved. One of these problems is the classification of the structures formed by two verbs connected by an adverbial verb. In some of these structures, the verb after the adverbial verb is an auxiliary verb and is used outside its own meaning. There are compound structures with the same structure, but the verb after the adverbial verb is not an auxiliary verb and is used in its own meaning in the structure. Although Gabain mentioned this in one of his articles, it was not emphasized much in later studies. These structures, which are used in the language in education and training but not emphasized or even ignored, have become passive and their use is decreasing day by day. However, in the new Turkic written languages, these structures are quite rich and their use is active. When transferring from New Turkic written languages to Turkey Turkish, these structures are used in the colloquial dialect in Turkey Turkish, but since they have become passive in the literary language, they are tried to be transferred in different ways instead of being transferred verbatim. Although they are not frequently used in the literary language of Turkey Turkish, they should be included in grammar books and the structure should be named. The study will be based on the examples given in Jean Deny, Tahsin Banguoğlu and other grammar books and the examples given in the articles written on this subject. The existing classification in grammar books will be reviewed and a new classification will be attempted or additions will be made to the existing classification.
