In a world that is constantly changing and developing, it is inevitable that people will improve themselves and their desire to learn will increase day by day. This change has also increased the interest of individuals in higher education institutions that focus on education and training for a specific profession and train specialists. Higher education institutions have an important place in the personal and social development of individuals, discovering their skills and talents, and contributing to society by advancing in their professional lives. Today, higher education institutions continue to increase both in the world and in Türkiye. Higher education institutions in Türkiye are also among the world's quality universities. Higher education institutions in Türkiye provide education to many international students from different countries. Among them, the number of students from independent Turkic States is quite high. In recent years, it is seen that relations between Türkiye and other Turkic states in the field of education and training have increased. In this context, cooperation in the field of higher education is also carried out between Turkmenistan and Türkiye. In this study, firstly, brief information about higher education institutions in Turkmenistan will be given. The universities and departments preferred by Turkmen students studying higher education in Türkiyi will be discussed. Within the scope of the statistics and information available at the Council of Higher Education, the current number of Turkmen students and the number of graduates will be determined. In the research, the support provided by YTB for Turkmenistan students will be mentioned. Finally, which university diplomas in Türkiye are approved in Turkmenistan and the developing cooperation between Türkiye and Turkmenistan in the fields of higher education will be emphasised.
